THE MATCH PREDICTION Portugal - Switzerland 05.06 20:45

Asian handicap Away +1

The inaugural UEFA Nations League Finals are set to begin on Wednesday 5 June. Portugal will face Switzerland at their Estádio do Dragão. Will the guests not lose with a big difference?

Portugal dropped in the last World Cup and left the tournament after the round of 16. The reigning continental winner began successfully the Nations League qualifying stage. Fernando Santos’ guys took narrow victories over Italy and Poland, 1:0 and 3:2, respectively. Then they have played with a draw against the same rivals. Thus, the Portuguese won their trio and have been advanced to the Final Four.

Switzerland performed well within the World Cup’s preliminary stage. The Nati have been advanced to the round of 16 and stopped by Tre Kronor. In the autumn the Swiss beat twice Iceland and earned six points on the Vikings. Their H2H meetings with the Red Devils ended with a win of both sides: in Switzerland 5:2 and in Belgium 2:1. Thus, Vladimir Petkovic’s men overtook the WC’s bronze medalist thanks to better additional marks.

Switlerland. The Portuguese could not win in their last four official games. The Swiss are undefeated since October 12. We expect the away side can resist to the hosts and will not lose with a big difference. We predict Switzerland’s win with an Asian handicap of (+1).
